SINGARAJAH is a company which aims to bring together globalisation and the internet to create a contemporary business where excellence and finesse rules. We aim to create wedding couture with distinctive and bespoke styling by being approachable, fun and versatile. Our vision is to create garments that exceed your expectations whilst remaining fair throughout the entire value chain, which means we take care to ensure that our pieces are made ethically and sourced morally. We take interest in creating relationships with our clients and do not take the straightforward approach to selling. Therefore we encourage you to use the form under the customer service section to give us feedback.

Shipping

​

While the Supplier organises the shipping of the Clients Orders, it is not responsible for any import fees or customs charges. In relation to all Orders made by the Client, all additional fees charged in relation to any order are the sole responsibility of the Client, as are any requests for certificates or customs documentation in relation to the Goods Ordered. The Supplier has no control over any taxes and/or import duties levied or applied to any Order. For more information on customs, duties, taxes and other import charges, please contact your respective local customs office.

 

The Supplier shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the Goods that is caused by a Force Majeure Event or the Client’s failure to provide the Supplier with adequate delivery instructions or any other instructions that are relevant to the supply of the Goods.

If the Supplier fails to deliver the Goods , it shall either refund or send replacement Goods as agreed between the Supplier and the Client. 

​

The Supplier cannot be held responsible for possible shipment delays as all shipments are handled by third parties. 

When your order is shipped you will receive an e-mail confirmation with relevant tracking information allowing you to follow your order.

Customisable products

What you see on our page is just a glimpse of what we can offer. If there is anything you want that you cannot find on our website, please do send an e-mail to contact@singarajah.co.uk and we will try our best to accommodate your requests.

Delivery Time

​

Our delivery time is usually 10 weeks from the receipt of full payment. Depending on certain designs, the delivery time may vary and could be longer but you will be informed about the estimated delivery time throughout the ordering process. We will notify you as soon as possible, if we can´t make the delivery on time. However, we can not be held responsible for delay in the delivery, due to reasons beyond our control.

Fast production is possible, but not guaranteed. If you are under any tight time restraints, we will try to accommodate as best as possible so please query. 

​

 

Returns & Alterations

​

At Singarajah we deliver the finest quality products. Your garment has been tailored to your exact specifications. If, for any reason, your garment needs alterations, contact our customer care team and we will guide you through the process. 

 

We do not accept returns for bespoke garments as they are custom-made to your preference and body measurements. If you believe your garment could be adjusted for a better fit, please e-mail to enquire. 

 

If there are any issues with the quality or fabrication of your garments, please email contact@singarajah.co.uk within 76 hours of delivery. Within the email, please describe your concerns with the garments and attach relevant photos. Our customer service executive team will reach  you.

Payment options

​

We take full payment upfront as you order is sent to production once your order is placed. Any cancellation past this phase will not be refunded. 

We accept payment through bank transfer or by card at the boutique.

Terms and Conditions

 

To enable us to produce a high quality garment, you agree to co-operate with us by providing us with your exact measurements and dimensions. We provide instructions on the Website describing how to measure yourself correctly. You should follow the guidance given by us as you will be responsible for the sizing information you provide to us. If the information relating to the requested size of the garment proves to be erroneous or if you change your mind or want to alter the size of the garment to a different size after placing the order, we will inform you of the cost of replacing or making the alterations necessary to meet the new sizing and, if you want us to make such changes, you will be required to pay those new costs.

 

If you send us images or details of any design or style you would like us to prepare for you, you warrant that you have all necessary rights, licences and permissions to use such designs or styles and you agree to indemnify Singarajah against any costs, claims and expenses which may result from us creating any garment based on such designs.

Placing an order

 

We are not obligated to accept your order and reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order once it has been placed. This may be done, for example, if:

 

- your payment is not authorised or has been marked as fraudulent, or potentially fraudulent, by the payment system;

 

- payment has been made using a card not issued in a country we dispatch to, or not where the billing address is;

 

- there is an error on the website regarding the price or description of a product; or

 

- if you have requested a bespoke design and it is not possible for any reason to carry out that design.

 

 By placing an order with us you are confirming that any information you have given is true and accurate and that you are authorised to use the card on which payment was made.

 

We are not liable for any breach of agreement, for delay or failure to perform if the delay or failure is due to acts of God, civil commotion, riots, floods, drought, fire, legislation or other cause beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our products

 

All products are subject to availability, which is subject to change. Images of products shown on the Website, and colours shown on screen, are reproduced as accurately as electronic processes allow, but may not always represent the exact image or colour of the final product.

 

We reserve the right to amend the details and specifications of our products as necessary, or to conform with any changes in UK or EU requirements.

 

We try to ensure that information regarding products on our website is as accurate as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors.

Prices

 

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the prevailing rate. 

 

Prices are subject to change. However, in the event of a change in prices, these will not affect any order which has been placed and agreed.

Customer's obligations

The customer must arrange for receipt of the garment within a reasonable time. A reasonable time is deemed to be within two weeks of the date of the garment being ready for receipt. If Singarajah agree to allow the customer to collect the garment outside those reasonable time limits, the customer may be required to pay for any additional alteration costs that result from a change in the dimensions of the customer during the period after the order was placed.

Returns policy

 

Singarajah shall retain the final discretion in determining whether there remains a legitimate fault with the garment.

 

Due to all Singarajah products being made to order, we do not accept returns. We provide alteration reimbursement depending upon the garment type. If, for any reason, your garment needs alterations, contact us and we will guide you through the process.

 

Please also be aware that as all suits made by Singarajah are bespoke, made-to-order products you will not be covered by the Distance Selling (The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013), which means that you are not entitled by law to an automatic refund. Therefore, our returns procedures, as outlined above, will apply in all cases.

 

Where an order consists of multiple garments, the start of the manufacturing process commences with the first garment. For the avoidance of doubt, subsequent garments on a multiple garment order cannot be cancelled once the first garment has been started.

 

In the unlikely event that a manufacturing error has occurred we will follow our strict policy of altering or replacing for a period of up to 3 days after completion of an order. We will require you return the garment to us, by post for inspection at the postal expense borne on you. We are not liable for defects resulting from the customer not following our care instructions.

Care Instructions

 

A well looked after suit will last a long time. For complete satisfaction follow these basic care instructions to preserve your suit’s longevity.

 

Pockets, lapels and columns should be brushed frequently to remove dirt.

Stains should be blotted immediately not rubbed.

 

Creased garments recover well in a humid environment. Hang them somewhere damp and warm, such as a bathroom, or vaporize them lightly with water.

 

After use, allow your suit to rest; wearing the same suit for two days in succession can cause damage to the fibres.

 

To help maintain the shape of your suit always hang your jacket on an appropriate hanger that supports the shoulders and always hang your trousers vertically.

 

Avoid placing items in your pockets as this will put strain on the seams.

 

Unbutton your suit jacket before you sit down to avoid pulling

 

Store your suit in a breathable garment bag for protection.

 

Have your suit dry cleaned at least once a season, however excessive dry cleaning can reduce the life of a suit.
